Join us for the NYC Premiere of Losing It! All proceeds will go towards our 2026 Benefit. The evening will feature an intimate performance of Losing It, followed by an artist talk, dance party and drinks at Funoon, a Greenpoint venue focused on showcasing Arab artists. All tickets include access to the performance, artist talk, and dance party, plus one drink ticket!
Co-created by YSDT artist Samaa Wakim and Artistic Director Samar Haddad King, Losing It explores how growing up under occupation - alongside the trauma of previous generations - manifests in the body through movement and sound. Featuring an original score - performed live onstage by King - including field recordings taken throughout Palestine since 2010, the sounds of fear and safety come together to the point where past and present cloud the future.

نظرًا للإقبال الكبير، أضفنا ليلة ثانية من العرض الحي « تبًّا Losing It»!انضموا إلينا للاحتفال بالعرض الأول في مدينة نيويورك ل« تبًّا Losing It» عرض أُنتج بالتعاون مع فرقة يا سمر!، حيث سيُخصَّص ريع الأمسية بالكامل لدعم حفلنا الخيري لعام 2026.
تتضمن الأمسية عرضًا ل«تبًّا Losing It» في اجواءٍ خاصة ، يليه لقاء مع الفنانين، ثم حفل راقص ومشروبات في مركز فنون (Funoon)، وهو فضاء ثقافي في حي غرينبوينت يُعنى بتقديم أعمال الفنانين العرب.
تشمل جميع التذاكر حضور العرض والمشاركة في اللقاء مع الفنانين والدخول إلى الحفل الراقص، بالإضافة إلى قسيمة لمشروب واحد.
« تبًّا Losing It» هو عمل مشترك لكلٌّ من: عضو فرقة يا سمر! سماء واكيم، والمديرة الفنية للفرقة سمر حداد كينغ. يستكشف العرض اثار تجربة النشوء تحت الاحتلال وما يصاحبها من صدمات متوارثة عبر الأجيال على الجسد من خلال الحركة والصوت.
ويضم العمل موسيقى أصلية تؤديها كينغ مباشرة على خشبة المسرح، إلى جانب تسجيلات ميدانية جُمعت من مختلف أنحاء فلسطين منذ عام 2010. تتداخل في هذا النسيج أصوات الخوف والأمان، حتى يصبح الماضي والحاضر متشابكين على نحو يحجب ملامح المستقبل.
